How We Got Started
S&D PJ Housing proudly serves the greater Detroit area. Founded by E.B. Jordan, who personally experienced incarceration for two years, our organization was born from her firsthand journey of reintegration.
Supported by a strong network of friends and family, E.B. navigated the challenges of transitioning back into the community.
During her time in prison, she enrolled in Building Trades classes, skills she applied to S&D PJ Housing projects.
E.B also serves as the Block Club President and Precinct Delegate in her neighborhood.
Our vision is to rehabilitate urban houses and establish transitional homes for women parolees or those on tether from prison, providing safe living conditions and resources.
Through these efforts, S&D PJ Housing actively fights urban blight in Detroit.
